Transnet Freight Rail Case Study

V & V Signs has successfully completed a Safety Signage Project for Transnet Freight Rail in a record period of 5 months.  The value of this project was in excess of R 5 Million.

The Signage programme included the following:

Comprehensive audit of 6 Transnet Freight Rail depots nationally which included, Safety and General Signage  Audits, in-depth HSE Audit, Fire Safety Audit, Road Sign Audit and Wayfinding Audit.  These audits concluded in the marking up of site plans as well as the inventory of current signs and identifying areas and elements that required appraisal and improvement.

Design and Production of a complete signage manual, covering all signage required for HSE, Wayfinding, Fire, Rail and Road.

Manufacture and Installation of all Signage required for prototype site in Pretoria.
